INSPIRATION
The inspiration for this song was the saying, “Don’t wait for the storm to pass, learn to dance in the rain.” I love the saying. If we wait for everything to be perfect, we’ll be waiting for a very long time. If you learn to take the first baby step, even when you do not know exactly where you are going, you can see what happens and course correct as needed. Into the storm I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and make a trail. The song “Dance In The Rain” is about the importance of embracing life’s challenges and finding joy in the midst of adversity because life isn’t about waiting out the pain, but learning to dance in the rain, and how with each new step, we will feel alive again.
